Maggie is an experienced company director, having served on the boards of over 18 public, private and not-for-profit companies including two charities (The Eden Project and SSVC).  She is currently Vice-Chair of Ofcom having served as Interim Chair between January 2021 and April 2022.

After reading Biochemistry at Oxford, Maggie’s career started in banking and strategy and since then has been mainly in the media sector.  She has chaired five boards, including ITN, the Racecourse Association (RCA), and the British Board of Film Classification.  Maggie also undertakes interfaith activities.

Maggie founded The Licoricia of Winchester Appeal charity in 2018.
